Water Day!
Our second and last day in La Fortuna was the famous “water day!” With a waterfall hike, a two-mile kayak on Lake Arenal, time exploring the town, and three hours soaking in the Baldí Hot Springs, we returned to our hotel tired, soggy, and with all our rings closed (that’s a measurement of fitness, for our non-iPhone folks).
Our students are currently enjoying smoothies, pastries, and a bathroom break at a small cafe overlooking the lake on the way to Monteverde. They’ve been excellent travelers who have shown flexibility, curiosity, and strong communication, so please know they are living up to high expectations and representing Deal well.
Pura Vida!
